Journeys

Pick the path you are trying to fix

A journey is one route through the funnel, written end to end. Platforms organise their content by feature. We organise it by the path a customer actually takes, because that is how the problem arrives.

FAQs

How journeys work here

What is a journey, as this site uses the word?

One complete route through the funnel, written end to end. Cold lead to booked call is a journey. So is missed call to recovered lead, and so is free trial to paying customer. It is not a feature and it is not a channel. It is the path a specific kind of customer takes, which is the shape the problem usually arrives in: nobody has a general automation problem, they have enquiries that go cold before anyone replies. Journeys are the columns of the content model on this site and industries are the rows, so every article sits at one industry and one journey. Each journey page lists the steps in order and the solution components it is assembled from.

Can we run more than one journey at once?

Yes, and most companies need to. A business running paid social, a website form and a phone line has at least three journeys, and they should share one pipeline and one set of routing rules rather than becoming three disconnected systems.

How do journeys relate to the solutions?

Solutions are the components and journeys are the assemblies. A solution is one piece of work at one funnel stage, such as social lead ads capture, WhatsApp and Instagram AI qualification, VAPI voice qualification or CRM routing and handoff. A journey joins several of them into a single route a lead actually travels. Cold lead to booked call, for example, is built from social capture, WhatsApp qualification, voice qualification and CRM routing. Each journey page lists exactly which components it uses and links straight to each one. That is also how most builds are scoped: start from the journey that is leaking, then build only the components that journey needs.

Which journey is the most common starting point?

Cold lead to booked call, by a wide margin, because the gap between a lead existing and a call being in the calendar is where most pipelines leak and it is the easiest gap to measure before and after.
